Brain Injury Matters Tee
£14.00
Our mission for the Brain Injury Matters Tee is to utilise the unique art work created by my dad (which also features in my book). The artwork, quote and overall design of the tee, is to benefit, uplift, and inspire survivors of brain injury. Our tees harness the ability to not only unpick meaningful stories from warrior survivors to share and inspire, but also provide a platform for none-injured warriors to better understand and appreciate how precious our brain is. Our goal is to be the bridge that connects the worlds of brain injured warriors and none injured warriors.
These tee’s fit beautifully. They come in sizes small to extra large! I myself wear a small, which is not too tight. I recommend a small to fit sizes 8-12, although more of a tight sophisticated fit for size 12. Overall, whatever size you are these tee’s will fit great. Please get in touch if you are unsure on sizes.
How do I wear mine? 👕👖👚👠🥾
I like to tuck mine into some high-waisted jeans, teamed up with trainers, and an over sized blazer! Or a long black skirt and leather jacket! Please send your photos in so I can pop them up on my site in the gallery. It would be even better if you feel brave enough to share a bit of your story to inspire others. 💜
Headway
A portion of the money made from each tee will be going to Headway Charity to support brain injury. I hold this Charity close to my heart. If you’ve read my book you’ll know why. The work they do is so important, making such a difference to brain injury survivors, and their loved ones. Headway is a UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury by providing vital support and information services, including:
- a freephone helpline and email – 0808 800 2244 or helpline@headway.org.uk
- a comprehensive award-winning website containing information and factsheets on all aspects of brain injury –Â www.headway.org.uk
- an award-winning range of booklets and publications designed to help people understand and cope with the effects of brain injury;
- an emergency fund to assist people dealing with the financial implications in the immediate aftermath of a brain injury;
- a Brain Injury Identity Card to help in everyday situations and if you come into contact with the criminal justice system;
- Headway Acute Trauma Support (HATS) nurses to support families whose loved ones are in the acute stage of care following brain injury;
- a directory of approved residential homes, rehabilitation units and respite facilities specialising in ABI.
